Since this is our first time experiencing daylight saving, Nic & I aren't sure of when does it start or end. So like every other Sundays, Nic & I woke up at 7.45am yesterday to attend the 9am mass. Everything went as per normal though the mass session seems a little different from the usual 9am session that we always attend. Nothing seems to be amissed since there wasn't any special indication of time avaiable too.. So happily, we attended mass and went Macdonald's to have our breakfast.
As Nic was going for his Sunday soccer session, we went home after breakfast. We still didn't suspect anything until I turned on my laptop and received a call from him. He called back to ask me to check his email regarding the location of his soccer session as no one was there yet. At the same time, after glancing at the clock on my laptop, I realised that it was one hour earlier than what was on my watch (I have actually set auto-update of daylight saving on my laptop). After clarifying with Bee gee (my lecture mate) then I know that the daylight saving ends as of yesterday, and will start again during October. Hence from now till October, the time difference between Singapore and Melbourne will only be 2 hours! hehe.. so happy cos I am one hour closer to home....
Nevertheless, poor Nic got to sit and wait in the soccer field for his other team mates to arrive; and yesterday was a very cold day... =)
